The first meeting

Most of us at the time of entering the college life have certain plans in our mind, that upon entering the college life i ll do something which everyone will remember till the end. I too was having the same thought but after coming to this college i.e.(K.L.S. gogte institute of technology,belgaum) in september 2008 i also became a member of the croud which wakes up in the morning attends lectures(bunks some for fun), enjoys with friends in the college & sleeps for the rest of the time.

Slowly and gradually time passed & i came in the 2nd year of my engineering life (i.e. my branch- mechanical engineering) but then also i was having almost the same routine.. bt one thing was there whenever i got time i used to think what am i doing to myself, i have so many beautiful thoughts but why am i unable to execute it...

One fine day like all the usual days i was attending a so called boring class of maths(which most of my frds. had bunked) bt i was attending it coz my attendance was short & so was of one of my friend Gouhar who was sitting by my side... We had a no. of topics to discuss bt when we came to the topic of what extra have we done since the time we came in college we had no answer to the question.. & so we started thinking what can we do.. A few days back while surfing the net i had seen the website of BAJA saeindia & found it to be quite interesting so i asked him what he knows about this topic... he told that he has also heard about it bt wasnt that sure what exactly it was.. so we came to the decision today itself we will check all the necessary stuff from the net & if possible try to execute the plan..(this was perhaps the first step of our group formation..). then withine the next few days we talked to a no. of chaps from our batch & some of them got ready to work with us(the reason was they to needed a platform & perhaps this was the best one..)...

The following week some 6,7 of us gathered at a common place and took the decision that we have to do this project anyhow..(we ll be ready to face the hardest of the consequences)..

(this was perhaps the 2nd & the most crucial stage of our group formation).. After that in a couple of weeks time we met the principal of the college who assured us of recommending a teacher ,some fund & the letter of recommendation on which we had to meet a no. of companies for sponsorship...(perhaps this was going to be the most difficult task for us)..

Today is the day when we have to meet the principal with our preliminary project details.. hope he ll like it & we ll take a step forward to make our dreams come true...
